Foundations for Farming International Training

17 March 2011

After the Champions conference, 22 of our international delegates stayed on for a week’s intensive training.  They represented 16 different nations and came together to form an amazing international family.  Over the weekend they were taken to two local communities where they saw crops standing as testaments of how the Lord has blessed faithful people who have been using the Foundations for Farming principles they have been taught to change their lives.

The group were such an encouragement and a blessing to share knowledge and the love of our Christ with. All involved gained so much from the time spent together both during the training sessions and  while  fellowshipping together. We hope and pray that they will be filled with enthusiasm on their return home, to go and implement all they have learned and shine like lights  in their communities. May God Bless them!

Here are some of the comments they shared with us at the end of their training:

I thank God for the wonderful and Godly agricultural way of farming which He has revealed to Brian, father of Foundations for Farming.  However, I suggest that a system needs to be designed in a formal manner to make a complete agricultural college because this Farming God’s Way has reached every part of the world.  God bless you.Michael (Sudan).

Not life changing, but life saving.Brian (UK)

I expected a greater focus on farming and realised that there was a balance of farming and the spiritual motivation for what we do.  Taking care of God’s creation and serving the poor, this is Nation building God’s way. The material was very basic for non-farmers like me, but sufficiently technical for experienced farmers.  Thank you for your faithfulness to God and mankind.  I pray that this will initiate a new era of God’s mercy and grace in Ukraine.” Bruce (Ukraine/USA)

I have a very good time here.  You have a very good organisation, but the most important all the time is humility.  I feel the love of God in each one of you.  Dios les Berdiga y que este fundamenta er cristo siga floresienda.Miriam (Mexico)

This special time of international training has a deep impact on my life, because of the unity the Lord established between us as the body of Christ, even though we were from various nations and had never met before.  The vision of Foundations for Farming based on the faithfulness of God in the principles of doing things On time, To standard, Without wastage and with Joy, this Kingdom philosophy touched my life eternally and will help me teach people in our church. Thanks.” Mark (DR Congo)

Everything here was excellent.  I had many revelations here, both spiritual and about farming. We have tried the ‘Farming God’s Way’ methods without formal training and after being on this course I can now correct the many mistakes we made.  Thank you and God Bless you.Roman (Ukraine)

Thank you so much for the last two weeks.  This is not the first time hearing about some of this stuff, but I have come away feeling very motivated, full of the Holy Spirit and feeling as though I have learnt a lot of new information.  God bless you all.  Thanks for making this time so special.  Keep up the good work.”  Mik (Zimbabwe)

The vision taught at Foundations for Farming can change the nation of DRC and the continent of Africa and solve the scourge of Noma disease and condition. The extreme poverty in Africa will find it’s solution through this”. ‘John 6:12, Mat 11:25’.  Theo (DR Congo)

I have really enjoyed the course and the camaraderie of the participants.  The teachings have been extremely interesting and Foundations for Farming is definitely going to change the way the world produces food and will help the world out of poverty.Peter (Zim/Zambia)

Thanks for training me in Foundations for Farming.  I will teach othersDereck (Zim/Zambia)

It was my first participation because I have received the correct information about God’s way of farming and never will I forget it.  Thank you all and God bless you.Justin (Zim/ DRC)

The Foundations for Farming training that I attended was a total turn around from what I used to know about farming. It was an eye opening event, which has made a mark that I will ever live to remember.  This is what every family and every nation needs to know and practice.  This is a great vehicle for the gospel of Jesus Christ, I thank Brian and all his team  for such impartation.  God bless you.”  Chima (Nigeria)

Thank you for your faithfulness in training others in advancing His Kingdom.  This course is teaching principles that will change Africa and the world from the bottom up! Tatenda!”  Luke (Zambia)

I enjoyed it a lot to meet all these people with a compassionate heart to serve.  The lectures were mind changing.  The model I have seen here was inspiring.  I will go home and ask the Lord what that means for Germany.  Thanks a lot.” Roland (Germany/Bangladesh)

“’Can anything good come out of Zimbabwe?’ Yes is has! With the Lord’s blessing.” Ray (UK/ Ukraine)

Saw the sovereignty of our God and His loving kindness with the ignorance and foolishness of man.  It was a very great time.” Benedictus (Ghana)

I’ve realised what the impact of our actions on the soil has made.  Soil conservation / conservation farming had a different meaning at college level, and I thought that was good agricultural practice.  I want the team to keep on with the good work, because it really changed my thoughts and how I am going to implement projects.” Solomon (South Africa)

God made all things well – to sustain life on earth and bless the ones He created and loves so dearly.  In love, unity and joy the Foundations for Farming team unselfishly invested themselves and helped me understand this truth more deeply, by trusting and lifting up the laid foundation, Jesus Christ alone.  This is God’s way of rebuilding individuals and Nations. Thank you.” Kai (Germany)

It has greatly transformed my thinking from mans point of view to God’s standard.  I have learned that faithfulness, humility and obedience to God is the key to success.” Francis (Ghana)

I believe that God brought me here to Foundations for Farming, in spite of many obstacles.  Foundations for Farming training is a powerful tool that has brought change in my heart, not only in the way we should farm, but also in all aspects of my life.  The principles are true and reflect God’s heart for his creation. Above all, be good stewards of our resources and never forget to help the poor and needy.” Mark (India)
